Lamium, Orchid Frost

Lamium maculatum Orchid Frost

Brightly colored foliage illuminates shady nooks and also shines in containers and hanging baskets. Orchid Frost features small, silvery leaves edged in green. Long-lasting soft orchid colored flowers rise above the spreading foliage in May. Tolerates dry shade well, particularly under large trees. Dislikes heavy, poorly draining clay soil.

Brighten shady areas with Lamium Orchid Frost. Silvery white frosted leaves with green edges form a lush groundcover topped by charming orchid-pink flowers in summer. Lamium plants or Dead Nettle tolerate dry shade conditions once established.
