Alstroemeria Ligtu Hybrids’ – 2026

Alstroemeria Ligtu Hybrids is a striking perennial known for its long-lasting, brightly coloured, lily-like flowers that appear from summer into autumn. The blooms, which can be shades of pink, red, orange, or yellow depending on the cultivar, are borne in clusters atop slender stems, providing a dramatic and elegant display in borders, containers, or as cut flowers. Its dense, lance-shaped foliage forms a lush green base that highlights the vibrant flowers. This hardy and low-maintenance variety thrives in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade, benefiting from regular watering and occasional feeding to encourage prolonged flowering. The Ligtu Hybrids group is especially valued for its versatility and continuous bloom, making it a popular choice for temperate gardens seeking long-lasting colour and pollinator-friendly flowers.
