DESCRIPTION

The cotton plant (Gossypium spp.) from the Malvaceae family is a staple crop known for its soft, fibrous bolls, which are harvested to produce cotton fibers. While cotton plants thrive in full sunlight and well-draining soil, they can be challenging to grow indoors due to their size and light requirements. In Singapores tropical climate, provide the cotton plant with ample sunlight and water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. While not typically grown for their air-purifying properties, cotton plants add ornamental value to outdoor gardens. They are generally safe for pets, but ingestion should still be monitored to prevent gastrointestinal upset. Embrace the natural beauty and practical value of the cotton plant in your outdoor garden, contributing to both aesthetic appeal and potential fiber production.

Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
