Planting & Care

1. Planting:Plant where they can receive full sunlight (between 6-8 hours per day). Locate these plants in full sunlight in any well-drained soil, but sandy soil is ideal. If planted in a container, fill with a well-drained potting media and at least one good drainage hole. Allow at least 2 feet on each side of the plant and 2-3 feet away from sidewalks or driveways.

2. Watering:Water regularly for the first year but not to the point of sogginess. Then, water occasionally especially during periods of hot, dry weather. Be careful not to overwater.

3. Fertilization:You can feed them lightly before new growth appears in spring with a good-quality, general-purpose fertilizer.
