Grapefruit Star Ruby’ Standard – 25 Gallon

Star Ruby is a highly pigmented grapefruit with a deep ruby-red flesh and a smooth, yellow rind that blushes when ripe. It is known for its juicy, sweet, and acidic flavors. This variety is seedless and is considered one of the darkest pigmented grapefruits. However, it can be more challenging to grow than other grapefruit varieties, being more susceptible to issues like phytophthora and nutrient deficiencies, and being sensitive to cold. It matures mid-to-late season and holds well on the tree, with its flavor best when ripe.
