Hosta Blue Circle’ – 2026

Hosta Blue Circle is a hardy perennial admired for its compact, mounded clumps of blue-green foliage that bring cool tones and texture to shaded garden areas. The slightly corrugated leaves provide a neat, structured appearance, creating visual interest throughout the season. In midsummer, upright spikes of pale lavender flowers rise above the foliage, adding height, seasonal charm, and attracting pollinators. Its tidy habit and striking leaf colour make it ideal for borders, woodland gardens, or container planting.

Thriving in partial to full shade with moist, well-drained soil, Blue Circle is hardy, low-maintenance, and reliable. The ornamental foliage provides lasting visual impact, while the summer blooms support garden biodiversity. Its combination of compact growth, attractive blue-green colouring, and seasonal flowers makes it a versatile and appealing choice for shaded planting schemes.
