Iris germanica Bumblebee Deelite’ – 2026

Iris germanica Bumblebee Deelite is a Miniature Tall Bearded (MTB) iris cultivar known for its striking bicoloured blooms. The standards are light yellow with purple veining at the base, while the falls are dusky purple with a narrow yellow margin, creating a vibrant contrast. The flowers are borne on stems that typically hold up to five blooms, adding a touch of elegance to the garden. This iris blooms in early to mid-season, offering a cheerful display in late spring to early summer.

The foliage consists of narrow, yellowish-green leaves that form upright clumps, providing structure and interest even when the plant is not in bloom. It is a hardy and low-maintenance plant, attracting pollinators and contributing to garden biodiversity.
