Persicaria amplexicaulis Alba’ – 2026

Persicaria amplexicaulis Alba is a striking perennial that brings a graceful elegance to the summer and autumn garden. It forms a clump of broad, green leaves from which slender, upright spikes of pure white flowers emerge, creating a light and airy effect. The long-lasting blooms provide nectar for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, extending interest well into the later months of the year. Its upright habit and luminous flowers make it a fine choice for adding height and contrast in borders or alongside ponds.

This hardy perennial thrives in moist, fertile soil and prefers a position in full sun to partial shade, making it versatile across many garden settings. It requires minimal maintenance, aside from cutting back old stems in winter to encourage fresh growth in spring. Suited to the UK climate, Persicaria amplexicaulis Alba is both resilient and rewarding, offering a strong visual impact, ecological value, and season-long beauty.
